Mottley's Comedy Club at Trinity. We're a different kind of Boston comedy club. We believe that in a city with one of the most legendary and vibrant comedy scenes in the country, a night out shouldn't mean having to see the same old shows with the same three guys. We're where the old school meets the new school, where bona fide Boston comedy legends share the stage with incredible newcomers from around the country. We realize that our job is to find the most talented and creative comedians around and then stand back and let them do what they do best - make you laugh.

We're located at 61 Chatham Street in Boston, downstairs from Trinity Bar. Most shows start at 8:00pm.

All shows are 21+.

Located in the heart of Boston's Theatre District, Nick's Comedy Stop, in our 35th year, is the longest running comedy club in Boston.

It's the perfect place to unwind with your favorite beverage and let the nation's funniest comics take you on a side-splitting ride!

Nicks is available for private parties and fundraisers, for up to 500 people, and we can even customize a show for you!

Featured on HBO and named Boston’s Best Comedy Club, Improv Asylum’s Main Stage Show features a cast of actors who bring together improvisation and sketch material in front of a live audience. The show has been described as a “hilarious mix of Whose Line is it Anyway? meets Saturday Night Live!”. The cast takes suggestions from the audience and creates comedic scenes on the spot – nothing is predictable, anything can happen and it’s never the same show twice!

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to show time. This will allow you time to get through the lines at our box office, restrooms, bar and theater. Our shows start promptly at their scheduled time.

Did you know that you do not need to be 21 to enjoy our shows? Our shows are recommended for customers 17 + older. You do need to be 21 to purchase alcohol at our bar, but anyone can get a good laugh at our shows!
