Farah Casis

And you’d better believe that jet-setting Farah Casis, the marketing and public-relations director for Felt and Vinalia, has brought her international air to Boston’s social scene.

With current projects like Cabana Mondays at Felt (which draw on both her Latin heritage and time as a dancer), Scotch and wine events at Vinalia, and an in-the-works charity event with Polina Fashion, Casis is only getting started.

You might call it wanderlust, but with so many new restaurants and bars to try and plenty of favorites to stay loyal to,

Casis and her friends might easily end up hitting four or five spots before tonight is over. She may pop in to Teatro -- a stone's throw from Felt -- before she meets friends for dinner in the South End.

Casis has heard quite a bit about the new Sage, which she has yet to try, so they may mosey in there for an after-dinner cocktail before they wrap up the evening at Revolution Rock Bar.

With a giant pool in her apartment complex in Marlborough, she has every intention of staying put tomorrow.

Sundays, she says, are her favorite day.

She's developed a habit of making it a beach day, and it's not looking like she will be breaking that habit soon.

Born in Panama, lived in Colombia, Switzerland, Alabama, Spain, Westchester (NY), Manhattan. Also, been to France, Holland, Italy, Brussels, Portugal, Canada, Aruba...Dying to visit Greece, Fiji, Kenya, South Africa, Egypt, Thailand & any desolate island on the planet.
Striving for PERFECTION, LOVE, SUCCESS AND FREEDOM...

My biggest ambition in life is to have complete control of TIME , the scarcest of all luxuries!

Having control is adrenaline.

Enjoy talking to new people, Byzantine conversations, making connections, making things happen!

In people I truly value individualism, personal creativity, and eccentricity. Everything else is boring. Most people are not living...they just are.
Someday, maybe even sooner than I know, I will have my own business, I don't care what it is anymore, I just want it to be mine--a place that will represent who I am...If you work for someone else the rest of your life, you will have to learn to conform. I don't like conforming. I strongly dislike mediocrity. Perseverance is my virtue.
I envy those who devote themselves to humanity, I think it is the most rewarding job that exists.

2008 - NEW YEAR RESOLUTION

1) To make more time for the lucky few people in my life I care about; 2) to make more time for the few things I find liberating and worth living for; to work less hours in order to accomplish #1 & #2. So far, I'm improving, still a long path to go. I suffer from being a severe workaholic.

I think the only prescription to cure that may be LOVE... So come to me!
