The Scene
This all-purpose destination's comfortable surroundings and affordable prices are perfect for Allston-Brighton's hordes of 20-somethings. During the day, when huge windows and skylights splash every corner with daylight, it's a comfy place to hang out and watch a game (there are TVs everywhere, including the bathrooms). The action heats up at night, when it becomes a trendy and fashionable nightspot; lines often snake around the corner.

The Draw
By day, there are plenty of leather seats and tables for those looking to eat or relax, while at night most of the downstairs level is cleared out to allow space for dancing to popular, DJ-spun tunes. Several well-stocked bars are strategically located to ensure no patrons have to wait long for a drink while munching on satisfying, upscale bar food like sweet potato dumplings and Thai chicken wraps. Prices are surprisingly reasonable, given the surroundings.

Look Good - Anyone off the street can roll in for lunch or a daytime drink, but at night, the bouncers enforce the dress code, so leave the hats sneakers at home.
